Working With Video
How to Keep Track of Important Scenes to Support Your Arguments (for Presentation or Paper)
(There are hundreds (thousands?) of readily available web pages, videos, posts, etc. (not to mention books) on how to edit video – here are some tools that we have used in our course – you are not limited to them).
Method 1: The Apple DVD player allows you to “Bookmark” key scenes – instructions here.
Method 2: The Apple DVD player allows you to create “video clips” of key scenes – instructions here.
Method #3: Only works if you have a QuickTime movie file to work with – and you will need QuickTime 7 Pro (which may or may not be available at Smith labs) – video example here.
Do your work in Smith Lab with Macs (borrow a friend’s laptop for your presentation) or consult ETS or figure it out yourself with Google, Microsoft Support or YouTube.
